They are the biologically active forms of omega-3, directly available for use in cell membranes, anti-inflammatory pathways and neurological tissue without requiring conversion from precursors. They are sourced in Petz Park products primarily from marine sources. ## Mechanism of Action DHA and EPA integrate into cell membrane phospholipids throughout the body, influencing membrane fluidity and receptor function. They are metabolised into eicosanoids including resolvins and protectins, which have direct anti-inflammatory effects and promote resolution of inflammation.
